A special gift for fans of C.S. Lewis
Inspired by the children's series, this drawing shows C.S. Lewis surrounded by the beloved characters of Narnia.
C. S. Lewis, or Jack Lewis, as he preferred to be called, was born in Belfast, Ireland on November 29, 1898 and died on November 22, 1963. Undoubtedly one of the most influential Christian writers of the past century, he is remembered by readers the world over, whom he has delighted and inspired for generations.
His most popular work is the Chronicles of Narnia a wonderful Christian analogy for children. This seven volume series inspired this whimsical drawing showing Jack with his ever present pipe and in the smoke the four children of his story, stepping in to the wardrobe that led them to the magical land of Narnia with all its wonderful creatures. Looking over the entire scene is Aslan, the Lion king of the entire realm.
